The way I view…Playtime

Welcome to my little blog if this is your first visit! :)

This is my first time participating in a blog circle – that’s when a group of bloggers each do a post that links to the next member of the group, eventually leading the reader back to the start.  It’s one of the fun and creativity exercises going on over at Clickinmoms. Each month we get a word and we have creative freedom to do a post that represents that word to us.

The August word was Playtime.

Playtime in our little neighborhood is so amazing.  There are so many wonderful kids around here and the activity is practically non-stop.  My favorite thing right now is the pack of boys – Kade, Marshall, Lawson, Jerry, and Maxwell who are always together in some version of a group -  of at least 3 or 4 of them at all times.  Tonight Marshall showed up with a gigantic Millienium Falcon (circa 1980s), packed full of all the Star Wars characters.  Lawson was excited to tell me about “Dark Vader”, “Bubba Fet”, and “Chewybaca” (*giggle*)…I was just happy to have them STILL for a few minutes so I could snap a few pics.

Anyhow, here’s the way I see Playtime:

Now head on over to check out the very talented Barb Huff of Barbara Jo Photography in Tuscarawas, OH to see her take on Playtime!

These are great, I’m sure they’ll be treasured in years to come. I wish I lived in a more child saturated neighborhood, seems like they’re all good friends!
