One of our favorite things to do when we visit Granny and Grandpa is to walk through the woods around their house. We took a walk and collected things from nature that the kids could use to make holiday wreaths. They found long vines to make the wreath base, big green magnolia tree leaves and pine branches for greenery, plus red and blue berry sprigs. It was a wonderfully warm day and lucky for me there was gorgeous late afternoon light filtering through the trees. Tomorrow I’ll post pics of their finished wreaths!
