Child’s Play

I was distracted from my reading yesterday by a sudden quiet that descended over the house.  Lawson was outside playing, so I tracked Piper down to her room where I found her playing dolls. All by herself, like the good little independent player that she is:)

She wanted to add me into her little play world, and she decided that I would be the babysitter.  She proceeded to tell me that she works at Dairy Queen – only part time though – and only every other day.  But she needs a babysitter for her four babies while she’s at work.  She said that I could bring the kids up to visit her at work when she’s on break and she could give the kids treats (she didn’t say for sure, but I assume that she meant her smoke break in keeping with the rest of the story).  So we played with dolls for about 10 minutes before she got side tracked writing up a very detailed food schedule for each of her babies (what each one likes and how to mix up the food). I love her imagination and sweet, beautiful spirit <3

She really should take some time, like any good mother, and put some clothes on her babies!! lol. She has the greatest imagination.
