The Taylor Swift Adventure, part 1

We bought these tickets MONTHS ago (November, I think??) and the day finally arrived.  I’ll cut to the chase and tell you it was all that AND a bag of chips.  Worth every penny, and so much fun.  I have like 50 pictures to share, so I figured I’d better break it up into multiple posts.  Here goes!!

These are the three very excited kids I took to the concert…

We left our neighborhood around 5:10 so that we’d have time to stop at the Dollar Store to pick up lots of glow-in-the-dark stuff to take with us!

And we picked up some candy while we were there, too;)

Downtown traffic right at rush hour!  glad we left early so we weren’t in a hurry.  It was very overcast, the weather forecasters said we’d be getting the bad weather that had just hit Oklahoma the day before.  Luckily for us, none of that bad weather ever showed up. Not even a sprinkle!

We got parked in the parking garage and then we all hopped into one of those bicycle pedi-cabs waiting nearby.  The kids got a kick out of it and we got there a little faster that way.

Waiting to cross at the crosswalk.  Piper’s friend had two different colors of the same shoes so the girls each wore one of each color, lol.

walking up the staircase to the entry at Frank Erwin Center.  Security checks!

We got some good advice from a friend who said we should hit the shirts first.  Holy cow, there were probably 125 people inline at this booth (the only one I saw in our trip around 1/4 of the arena) – and there were only THREE people working there.  We waited for about half an hour to get our stuff.

Finally we emerged VICTORIOUS!!  Shirts and posters for the girls, and a cool LED foam stick for Lawson.
