After spending the morning at the train place, we took the kids out for Pony rides. This place is serious about pony rides – two lines, one for the slow riders and one for the faster riders. And they had about 20 or so ponies there, all ready to go! Ironically, the oldest child at 8 chose the “slow only” ponies, while the 4 and 6 year olds opted for the faster “medium” ponies. Piper whipped through the very short line for the slow rides and I couldn’t even get a picture of her since I was with Miley and Lawson in the medium pony lane. And little Miles rode on the slow Pony for at least 30 minutes. He kept signaling “more” so Aunt Lisa let him keep on riding!
After the Pony rides, we stopped and had an amazing burger at Bob’s Big Boy So good! Then we made our way back home to Simi Valley and spent the evening hanging out in the backyard again. So nice and relaxing!
After we all came inside, Andrew helped Piper make a few duct tape creations – including two new bracelets!
