and of course we had to reward all their hard work with a day at the beach.
It was Aunt Annie Lou’s first time to the Atlantic Ocean ever. Or at least since the 1980′s. I’m not trying to exaggerate, I just can’t remember which. This is why teenagers use “um, like” so much – it absolves them of the need to be accurate. So – Aunt Annie Lou hasn’t been to the Atlantic Ocean in um, like, FOREVER.
We got Publix subs for lunch and had a little picnic lunch! it was breezy and a little chilly, but once again, that didn’t stop the kids from having a blast. Mike and I may or may not have tried out the wake board on this day, but there will be no photographic evidence of such acitivity posted here. :)
At some point Piper decided that she wanted to bury her entire body in a hole. I’m pretty sure she regrets that idea now, as I believe she still has sand in her crack to this very day.
